Shelby version 2.5

We traveled to Seattle last week to celebrate Shelby's 2 1/2 birthday.  It's a joy to see her grow.  She talks in complete sentences now, and can appear quite grown up.

But she humors poppop and nana, and still lets us cuddle her.  Her smile melts my heart.

Sheby's quite the fashion trend setter.  Her signature move is to wear her sunglasses upside down.

She loves shoes, and didn't take off her new red slippers for the duration of our visit.  The faux shearling jacket was a gift from her Uncle Ron and Aunt Robin.

Shelby will have a new sibling in July, and is practicing being a big sister by manhandling Harper, a friend's 15 month old daughter.  Though she's a little heavy handed, Harper didn't seem to mind the attention at all.

But it's a different story when she gets the same treatment from her daddy.

It's always a treat to visit Shelby... and her mom and dad, too, of course.
